The FIFA 18 World Cup of Russia mode returned! Well, not exactly, but this morning (April 27, 2018) the Reddit forums exploded with content about the new game mode, of which we do not know anything more than just rumors.

There are less than 50 days until the World Cup begins and EA has not yet given us news about this game mode. It is something strange and exasperating, since we would like to know even the slightest about this game mode, but not...

Fortunately, everything changed today, since Reddit users placed an image that comes from the same interface of the PS4 Store, where we can see an image of Christiano Ronaldo next to the FIFA 18 logo and in the upper left the legend "FIFA 18 Russia World Cup Update". Redit exploded and it is not for less, since it is the first thing we know in months about this game mode, which will be free.

A strategy that EA had already adopted in the past

In FIFA 14, EA opted for a similar strategy, updating the game for free and adding new game modes (among these the first glimpses of the Ultimate Team, which focused on fut 18 players from national teams).

What is our position? Our position is to be objective. The image is not edited, it is clearly part of the Store of the PS4, but why take a picture with the cell phone? The PS4 can take screenshots, which can easily be extracted with a USB ... So, the doubt is there. We will have to wait.
